- “Transforming Agriculture in Rwanda” showcases our support for smallholder-led agricultural development in Rwanda, working in close partnership with the government. It features our large-scale investments in creating the Rwanda Institute for Conservation Agriculture (RICA) and the Nasho Irrigation Cooperative (NAICO), a 63-center pivot irrigation project owned and managed by 2,000 local farmers in Rwanda’s drought-prone Eastern Province.

Heartfelt thanks to Mr. Howard D. Buffett from Ukraine 🇺🇦 I live in a region that suffered Russian occupation last year. Now they are simply shelling our cities and villages from Russian territory. Even now, as I write this, I can hear the sounds of explosions. But I also hear the sound of a tractor running: Ukrainians continue to live, sow grain and harvest. Which means we will survive. This is very good, I hope we can do this also in our Island Providence Island Colombia, with our farmers, since we just had a major hurricane in 2019, and the island was damaged in 95% and our people is passing true some difficult time and situation

The sad thing is that I’m sure that Africans in Rwanda could have executed this plan on their own but for whatever reason didn’t. Now, because of JESUS, people all over the world are look for a white savior… to enslave us….
Why not use drip irrigation? It is much more efficient thank sprinkler irrigation.
Also more maintenance. Unless you know of a recent innovation.
